During the day Dapper Coffee is a chilled out spot where you can grab espressos and cold brew coffees along with hearty lunch dishes like the super-stacked Dapper Burger and creamy Mac & Cheese, plus innovative cakes that showcase local flavours. By night the space turns into a hip and happening bar with mad amounts of spirits including over 150 gins.

Why you should come here:

It’s a cool coffee spot tucked away on the second floor of a shophouse on Amoy Street Before turning into a bar come nightfall, they serve as a full blown cafe serving dishes like the Baked Whole Camembert, Smoked Salmon Sprout Sandwich and Fully Loaded Baked Avocado with caramelised bacon and cheese. They also recently made their full cakes available for sale, so you can grab a Matcha Raspberry White Chocolate or Gula Melaka Walnut Oak cake for that next birthday soiree or special event.

What we love:

The decor features lots of dark wood and copper accents, which gives it something of an old school speakeasy-style vibe. The coffee is a full-bodied blend from Common Man Coffee Roasters, and tastes great in either hot or cold brew form. If you want an Instagram-worthy bevvie, we suggest a bottle of the Gold Brew, which comes rich brown and iridescent with sparkly gold flakes, or the Unicorn Tears—a shockingly aquamarine glittery drink with no alcohol and no caffeine.

Cake, coffee and cafe fare by day, awesome bar by night. Head here around 5pm and you can go straight from coffee right into drinks if you’d like.
