THE SCOOP: W Hotels Worldwide will be opening its second location in Indonesia in Ubud, Bali. The group now has 50 hotels worldwide. It’s first property in Indonesia opened in Seminyak in 2010 and is known for their breathtaking sunset views over the Indian Ocean.
Its Ubud location perched on a hilltop over Tangayyuda Valley with unobstructed views of the rising morning sun in the East.
W Bali – Ubud plans to redefine modern luxury and mix it with interpretations of traditional Balinese art styles. The hotel will have 100 guest rooms, including 10 villas with private pools and an EWOW suite. Guests will also enjoy two pools, one with a poolside Sunset Bar. The hotel will be open in 2020.
